If you love the look of a fuller lash line but lack the necessary steady hand, this is for you. Permanent eyeliner uses European acupuncture to push the color into the lash line, mimicking the look of a darkened top lashline that stays on through sweat, sleep, and showers.
Step 1: The Design
Your lash line or semi-permanent eyeliner will be designed based on your individual needs, the shape of your eyes, as well as personal style.
Step 2: The Color
We will help choose the most natural-looking color for you. Our colors are custom blended, non-toxic, they are made from natural mineral-based pigments.
Step 3: Pigmentation
Individual hair follicles are gently layered in the dermal layer of the skin. MicroArt utilizes proprietary technology and a system emulating the look of real eyelashes to create a natural semi-permanent eyeliner. Our Equipment uses a single acupuncture needle that gently vibrates on the dermal layers of the skin depositing a mineral-based pigment into the skin. A pigment is precisely applied in thin layers until the ideal color and shape are achieved creating a completely natural look. During the 1st session, we take the necessary precautions. Less is more. This session is about getting a nice base started and the fine-tuning takes place in the 2nd appointment.
Step 4: The Touch-Up
2-4 weeks after your 1st session you’ll return for a touch-up appointment to review the color and shape with your technician and make adjustments if needed to ensure that you have the look that you want to achieve.
Aftercare is Actually Pretty Easy -
The permanent eyeliner healing process is known to be the easiest of all permanent makeup healing. That probably comes as a surprise. As long as you are in good health, you can expect swift, easy, and safe healing. We’re going to go over how your permanent eyeliner will look as it’s healing and the two most common and popular methods of permanent eyeliner aftercare.
Healing Schedule Day by Day -
Days 1: You'll love your new eyeliner!
Your eyeliner color is approximately 30% darker than it will be when it’s healed. It will also appear slightly larger than it will heal in just a few days. This is due to color oxidation as well as a small amount of swelling and it is a normal part of your healing process. You will have no trouble driving home and going about the rest of your day normally. It’s unlikely that anyone will notice you’ve had your eyeliner permanently done except for possibly those you know very well.
Days 2-3: Your color will darken temporarily as the pigment oxidizes and thin scabs will form.
You may wake up slightly puffy but you can remedy this by sleeping on an incline or applying a cool compress. Your eyeliner will feel tight and dry, but not painful.
Days 3-5: Your eyeliner will begin flaking until there is no scabbing left.
You want to allow healing to shed naturally. Once all scabbing has finished flaking, it is common for the color to appear lighter than it will eventually heal. This lighter color is only temporary as your freshly healed skin is hiding the true color underneath. Over the next several weeks your eyeliner color will bloom.
Days 42: At 6 weeks your eyeliner is fully healed.
It’s now okay for you to come back in for your follow up. Any adjustments such as darkening the color or altering the shape can be done at this appointment.
Is eyeliner important to your appearance and feeling of self-confidence?
Does your eyeliner smudge?
Does it wear off during the day?
Do you have trouble getting it straight or even?
Are you allergic to cosmetic products or are allergies causing you to re-apply several
times a day?
Do you have sparse eyelashes?
Maybe your job requires that you go
make-up free.
If so… permanent eyeliner is perfect for you!
Your Eyeliner is broken up into two appointments - the first appointment and then 4 to 6 weeks later, a perfecting session.
First Treatment: Please allow up to 1 hour for your first eyeliner appointment to be completed.
Do not take aspirin or ibuprofen or have any alcohol 24 hours prior to and
after your appointment.
Take a non-aspirin pain reliever
30 minutes before.
Don't wear eye makeup or contacts to
your appointment.
The eyeliner procedure lasts about 18 months. Permanent makeup is "semi" and client results will vary. Commonly you will need a touchup at
1-2 years.
Generally, the results are amazing but it very much depends on your own skin type, texture, and oiliness. Aftercare must be taken seriously!
We recommend black if you wear black eyeliner every day, as black can be stark and bold. Other popular softer colors are tones of
brown, smoke, and green.
Other complimenting fun colors are navy blue, bright blue, purple, and teal. You name it
we can do it.
In a word, maybe. But not that much. Numbing cream and gel are used liberally throughout the procedure and it's more discomfort than pain. Please take a few Tylenol 30 minutes
before procedure.
